RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer.
Duties:
Systems Support, Maintenance, and Implementation:
* Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of secure, reliable, and scalable systems infrastructure across company properties and business environments
* Configure, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup platforms, cloud services, and related infrastructure technologies
* Support Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and related Microsoft infrastructure components
* Support VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts, virtual machines, resource allocation, performance monitoring, and related virtualization technologies
* Support Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms, managed hosting services, and hybrid infrastructure environments
* Assist with infrastructure upgrades, server refreshes, migrations, lifecycle replacements, and modernization initiatives
* Support scheduled maintenance, patching, infrastructure deployments, and system configuration changes
Troubleshooting and Operations:
* Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
REQUIREMENTS:
* 8 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or similar roles within an enterprise environment
* Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services
* Experience supporting VMware vCenter, ESXi, virtual machines, and enterprise virtualization environments
* Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, SaaS platforms, or hybrid infrastructure environments
* Experience with enterprise backup, disaster recovery, restore validation, and recovery procedures
* Experience with Microsoft and third-party patch management, application packaging, and software deployment
* Hands-on experience troubleshooting server, application, identity, storage, backup, cloud, and network connectivity issues
* Experience supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 systems issues in an enterprise or multi-site environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
