Senior Analytics Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Provo, UT that is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer.

Summary:
In this role, you will develop the core services that deliver data across the enterprise. You'll design and build data models that power our most important operational and strategic decisions. Working closely with finance and other business teams, you will help maintain a robust data warehouse platform that ensures timely, accurate, and reliable data for performance KPIs and commission calculations impacting thousands of employees.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Build strong relationships with analytics teams and business leaders to understand goals and data needs
* Design, develop, and maintain an enterprise data warehouse platform, including data models and transformation pipelines
* Implement best practices and innovative solutions to deliver accurate and reliable data
* Support the deployment and optimization of a high-performing data warehouse platform (Snowflake) serving thousands of users
* Continuously evaluate and improve data architecture for efficiency and reliability

REQUIREMENTS:
* BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical field-or equivalent work experience
* 3 years of experience in data modeling and data warehousing development (SSIS, dbt, Matillion, or similar). SSIS strongly preferred
* 2 years of professional experience with Snowflake or Redshift
* 2 years working in Git-based environments with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
* At least 2 years of experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation
* Expert-level SQL skills and strong understanding of cloud warehouse design principles
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
* Advanced SQL experience from an analytics perspective
* Ability to prioritize high-impact opportunities and make sound trade-off decisions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
