RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Topeka, KS that is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead initiatives within a hybrid delivery environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong Agile mindset and the flexibility to operate across Agile, Hybrid Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. This role is pivotal in driving transformation, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and delivering value across distributed teams.
Responsibilities:
* Lead project delivery across multiple workstreams using client methodologies
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
* Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency
* Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
* Track and report project status, financials, and resource utilization
* Support release planning and execution across impacted application teams
* Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across project cycles
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7 years of project management experience, including Agile and hybrid environments
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with project management tools (e.g., Planview, Jira, ServiceNow)
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
