RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Product Owner in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans for business and technology initiatives
* Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation objectives
* Partner with engineering, architecture, data, QA, cloud, and operations teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions
* Lead modernization, system integration, workflow automation, reporting, and process improvement efforts
* Support enterprise data initiatives focused on quality, governance, consistency, and standardized business definitions
* Help strengthen data foundations for analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions
* Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve processes and user experiences
* Balance business priorities with technical debt, security, system reliability, and long-term sustainability
* Coordinate testing, releases, communications, and solution adoption across stakeholder groups
* Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery obstacles while promoting Agile practices and continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
* 7 years of experience in product ownership, product management, technical business analysis, or a similar role
* Experience partnering with software development, architecture, data, QA, cloud, and operations teams
* Strong background in backlog management, requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and Agile delivery
* Experience with enterprise data, analytics, integrations, reporting, or technology transformation initiatives
* Understanding of cloud environments, modern software delivery practices, and emerging AI technologies
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities
* Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, resolve competing priorities, and build consensus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
