RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Hardware Design Engineer in Andover, MA to play a key role in the development of complex digital hardware systems from initial concept through production. In this position, you will join a highly collaborative engineering team and play a critical part in designing advanced products used globally. This position involves solving complex engineering challenges, making significant individual technical contributions, and guiding other engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and development of complex digital hardware systems from concept through full product lifecycle
* Make significant hands-on technical contributions in high-speed digital and PCB design
* Drive architecture, design decisions, and technical direction for challenging hardware projects
* Develop detailed design specifications and documentation
* Mentor and guide junior engineers while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* 8 years of experience in digital hardware design and PCB design
* Proven experience designing complex digital hardware products across the entire product lifecycle, from concept through production
* Experience developing detailed technical specifications and design documentation
* Strong expertise in high-speed digital design
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
