RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Platform Engineer.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or marketplaces at enterprise scale
* Experience with IDEs (VS Code or similar) and extension/plugin ecosystems
* Experience designing secure, high availability distributed systems and APIs
* Experience working across organizational boundaries to deliver platform capabilities used by diverse engineering teams
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) along with solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
* Knowledge of designing, developing, and deploying applications following established patterns and best practices
* Experience leveraging DevAssist tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to optimize development workflows
Bonus Skills:
* Cloud Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes or similar
* Experience working with the open source community
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
