Nuclear Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Palo, IA that is seeking a Nuclear Project Manager responsible for the completion of projects that support nuclear objectives. This role may lead or support projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Leads projects to ensure completion by schedule date
* Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion
* Coordinates engineering, and other functional resources to complete project objectives
* Leads and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance
* Manages all site-related project controls and systems to support project development tasks
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred (Sciences, Engineering, etc.)
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
* Experience: 10 years
* Nuclear experience: 5 years
* Supervisor/Management experience: 5 years

Nuclear Specific Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or technical discipline and 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, or in either the nuclear or fossil industry
* In absence of degree: 10 years of experience in project management, engineering, or in either the nuclear or fossil industry
* Experience with estimating systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
