Hydraulic Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Hydraulic Specialist. We are looking for a skilled problem-solver with hydraulic expertise to maintain and optimize a fleet of heavy-duty recycling vehicles. The Hydraulic Specialist will lead diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles
* Recommend performance improvements
* Perform scheduled maintenance (A/B services)
* Support Fleet Manager with repairs
* Maintain accurate service records
* Assist drivers in the field
* Keep work areas clean and safe
* Take on additional tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience with hydraulic systems on heavy-duty trucks (Cummins, Allison, Peterbilt, International)
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic theory and fluid mechanics
* Ability to design, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems
* Skilled in using hand/power tools, reading schematics, and fabricating parts
* Must have own tools and reliable transportation
* Detail-oriented and dependable
* Inventory of parts
* Preventative maintenance and repairs - addressing broken components, parts, etc.
* Experience testing hydraulic components

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
