RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in that is seeking a Fixed Income, EQ or FX Developer for a hybrid role (onsite 3 days a week) in Midtown New York City.
Role Description:
* Hands-on Coding, design and testing of changes in the Rates and Credit eTrading platform
* Changes including ECN connectivity, Pricing, RFQ processing, Pricing and STP.
* Focus on low latency, capacity and performance in terms of messaging layer, caching of data, management of data structures and concurrency
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with:
* Languages - Server side Java and/or C , Python
* Messaging - Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ
* SQL/DB - SQL, DB (MS SQL, Oracle)
* DevOps - Jenkins, github actions, urbancode, etc.
Nice to haves:
* 2 years of application development experience in Front-Office Fixed Income, EQ or FX platforms
* AWS - S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, etc.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
