Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical SEO Analyst in Houston, TX. Overview: The Technical SEO maintains and improves website technical health, executing audits, partnering with IT on deployments, and enforcing best practices across Sitecore to strengthen search performance, crawl efficiency, and user experience. The primary focus is to ensure ongoing technical SEO health through audits, implementation, and proactive monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Technical Optimization:

The primary focus is to ensure ongoing technical SEO health through audits, implementation, and proactive monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Technical Optimization:
- Run crawl audits, fix indexing, canonicalization, rendering
- Manage XML sitemaps for crawlability
- Monitor/optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS)
- Resolve duplicate, orphaned, or thin content, research root causes
- Partner with IT on releases and production pushes
- Write requirements; Test in lower envs; Validate in production
- Execute/QA SEO updates in Sitecore templates; QA metadata, schema, hreflang; Validate redirects and internal links
- Maintain/prioritize the SEO backlog, track tickets and dependencies
- Log updates for governance and audit history
- Use SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console; Deliver site health summaries; Flag anomalies in crawl/index patterns
- Operate and interpret data from tools such as: SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console
- Provide weekly and monthly site health summaries to marketing leadership
- Identify anomalies in crawl or index patterns and escalate to appropriate teams
- 3 years of experience in technical SEO with multi-language and multi-location websites
- Experience with CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred) and version-controlled deployments
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript rendering, structured data, and page performance metrics
- Proficiency with SEO and web analytics tools such as: SEMRush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Strong project management and documentation skills; experience working within Agile or sprint-based workflows preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate across IT, content, and marketing functions
- Improved crawl efficiency and index coverage
- Higher Core Web Vitals across templates
- Reduced thin/duplicate content across key pages
- Timely, accurate SEO implementation during IT deployments
- Documentation enabling scalability and governance
