Kforce's client, a progressive suburban Connecticut CPA firm, seeks a Tax Manager. Summary: In this role, the Tax Manager will review business and individual tax returns, (1040, 1065, 1120) perform effective tax research. Direct communication with clients is required regarding engagement progress, problem resolution, financial information, and tax strategy. The Tax Manager will guide and manage junior staff members. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Requirements
- CPA and/or EAQ designation preferred
- 6 years of progressive business and individual tax experience in public accounting
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience using CCH Axcess is a plus

Salary : $140,000 - $175,000
