Kforce has a client that is seeking a ServiceNow ERP Specialist in Woodbridge, VA. Summary: The ServiceNow ERP Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's software assets and licensing portfolio throughout the software lifecycle. This role oversees software inventory, vendor relationships, user access, compliance, auditing, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage ServiceNow to maintain accurate asset records, support end users, optimize software investments, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and licensing requirements. The ideal candidate will leverage ServiceNow to maintain accurate asset records, support end users, optimize software investments, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and licensing requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain software inventory and asset records within ServiceNow
- Manage software assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, renewal, and retirement
- Coordinate with software vendors and resellers to negotiate pricing, manage renewals, and support purchasing activities
- Administer user access through software portals and SSO platforms, including provisioning and deprovisioning users
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, internal policies, and governance standards
- Conduct software audits to identify compliance risks, improve security, and optimize software utilization
- Track software renewals and maintain licensing documentation
- Analyze software usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and license optimization
- Develop reports and dashboards related to software assets, licensing, and compliance metrics
- Support end users with software requests, access issues, and licensing inquiries
- Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within ServiceNow and related systems
- Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, and business stakeholders to support organizational objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or a related discipline
- Experience using ServiceNow or a comparable IT Service Management (ITSM) platform
- Experience supporting large user populations and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of software licensing models, software lifecycle management, and software compliance practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
