This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has a strong background in grant accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of government and private grant funding, ensuring accurate accounting and timely financial reporting
- Review grant-related financial reports and reimbursement requests for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare monthly journal entries, revenue accruals, expense allocations, and account reconciliations
- Partner with program, development, legal, and finance teams to support grant administration and reporting requirements
- Monitor compliance with grant agreements and applicable funding regulations
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support external audits, including grant compliance and Single Audit preparation
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide financial insights to leadership
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of accounting experience, including grant or fund accounting
- Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and grant compliance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Experience supporting audits and budgeting processes is highly preferred

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
