Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Database Developer in Smithfield, RI. Duties Include:
- Developing and crafting robust high per-performance database solutions
- Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs
- Taking the business requirements coupled with existing architecture to set a technical vision for features and major components and clearly articulating the evolutionary steps to achieve it
- Experience in PL/SQL programming including packages, procedures, function and triggers
- Ability to optimize sophisticated queries and design efficient solutions
- Experience working in enterprise environments with version control and deployment standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset
- Experience in ETL build and development
- Experience with database such as Oracle (Primary), SQL server
- Knowledge of Containerization and cloud deployment related to Database
- Ability to build communication and rapport with partners, stakeholders
- Ability to take initiative, define vision for improvement of products, and execute at high level of quality
- Ability to plan and work with geographically spread-out teams
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Curiosity to constantly relearn/explore new processes/technologies
