Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Manage and support large-scale Unix-based file transfer environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux systems
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline file transfer operations
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to ensure seamless data integration
- Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions for scalable and secure file transfers
- Design and develop new features and enhancements using modern frameworks
- Maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with operational and security standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration and support
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong command of Linux shell and troubleshooting tools
- Solid understanding of basic Windows administration tasks
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Perl)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and networking
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
- Experience with TIBCO products is a plus
- Strong understanding of secure file transfer protocols and best practices
- Experience building backend services using Spring Boot
- Familiarity with Node.js for server-side development
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
