A Kforce client, located in the Saint Louis, (MO) area is a leader in the energy industry seeking to hire a Senior Auditor (SOX) to lead and execute risk-based audits across financial, operational, and compliance areas. This role serves as a key liaison between process owners and external auditors, ensuring alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley and regulatory requirements. - Serve as the primary interface with process owners to assess business risks and communicate audit findings
- Lead financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Manage relationships with external audit firms, including scope, budget, and timelines
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to audit plan development across business units
- Advise on strategic projects including IT systems, construction, and program development
- Support audit teams in identifying improvement opportunities and developing action plans
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
- Professional certification required (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal/external auditing
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and risk assessment in regulated environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
