Kforce's central New Hampshire client is looking for a Senior Accountant - Business Tax candidate. Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing business tax returns and tax planning engagements for review by senior team members or Partners. This role serves as the primary contact for business clients with basic tax matters and assists in gathering missing tax information. Essential Functions:

Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing business tax returns and tax planning engagements for review by senior team members or Partners. This role serves as the primary contact for business clients with basic tax matters and assists in gathering missing tax information. Essential Functions:
- Provides feedback to staff on business tax workpapers, prior to submission to senior team members
- Assists in reviewing, researching, and drafting responses to client tax notices for approval
- Will stay current with IRS and state law changes
- Support team members by offering guidance on business tax software (QuickBooks, CS Fixed Assets, Engagement Manager, TValue) and help less experienced team members navigate these tools
- Assist with the annual update of the business tax workpaper templates
- 3-4 years of tax experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and willingness to practice and enhance both written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized workspace and work product
- Attention to detail and ability to self-review
- Behaves professionally in the office and when interacting with a client
- Ability to adapt to new software
- Able to learn and apply new technical skills
- An intermediate level understanding of accounting concepts
- Is able to actively participate and provide guidance in a collaborative team environment
- Has a can-do attitude and approaches challenges as an opportunity to grow
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and seeks guidance as needed
- A strong understanding of tax concepts
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Working toward CPA or EA designation

Salary : $64,000 - $75,000
