SDET

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The SDET will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality releases efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with software developers to identify test requirements and design test strategies
• Build and enhance test frameworks and tools to improve automation coverage and efficiency
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and early defect detection
• Execute and analyze automated test results, track defects, and report quality metrics
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards
• Provide guidance on best practices for testing and automation
• Continuously improve the QA process through innovation and adoption of new tools/techniques
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Junit, NUnit)
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and automated service testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and source control (Git)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter, Gatling)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
