Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Houston, TX. Responsibilities:

• Scrum Master facilitates a Scrum team by ensuring they understand and apply Scrum principles, leading Scrum ceremonies, and removing impediments that hinder their progress
• Manage delivery of internal hardware infrastructure
• Manage delivery of tech for DC's end to end
• Running 5 diff applications, the SM will manage all JIRA, product roadmaps and institute good scrum practices; Continue to improve on a good Agile mindset
• Run Scrum meetings for teams; Depending on apps there are 3-4 scrum teams
• As a Scrum Master, you will manage Jira Backlog for all
• Influence and enhance sound practices with various teams
• Manage conflict and disagreements within team; Stake holders are business owners and Lead Devs
• Facilitate quarterly increment meetings with all developers, stakeholders, etc.
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent documentation skills, they use Confluence
• Continues an improvement mindset
• Can have any toolset; We will train them on our tools
• Scrum Master certs or Product certs are a plus

• Project Task Estimation
• Resource Scheduling
• Risk and Issue Management
• Waterfall and Agile methods
• Work breakdown and critical path method
• Stakeholder Management
• Executive communications
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
