This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test solutions to ensure high-quality product delivery across sprint cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test cases
- Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into clear, repeatable test scenarios
- Validate system changes, identifying defects across functionality, UI, data, and performance
- Perform backend validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy
- Log, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking system
- Support test planning, scheduling, and execution aligned with project timelines
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Utilize version control tools (e.g., GitHub) to manage test assets
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuous testing practices
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or BDD frameworks
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Experience writing SQL queries for data validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exposure to ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Knowledge of security and accessibility testing standards
- Experience working in agile development environments
