Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to help drive software quality and test automation across modern cloud-based applications. In this role, you'll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, validate web, API, and backend applications, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable, high-quality software releases. Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, validate web, API, and backend applications, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable, high-quality software releases. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Create and execute test plans for web, API, and backend applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Partner with developers and product teams to improve quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote testing best practices
- 5 years of software quality assurance experience, including 3 years focused on test automation
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments
- Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
- Experience with BDD frameworks, performance testing, Docker, Kubernetes, or NoSQL databases
