Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is seeking a POS Product Owner who will partner closely with PMs but bring a more technical and delivery-focused lens. Summary: In short, POs help translate strategy into executable work and ensure we build the 'thing' right, ensuring the intent of the feature is preserved through delivery. Ultimately, we envision a PO who can take high-level business requirements and break them down into clear, actionable user stories-while maintaining alignment to the what and why established in partnership with stakeholders. Our POS and pricing systems do interact, but they are fundamentally different products. Responsibilities:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

- Collaborating on requirements with an emphasis on systems architecture, feasibility, and technical implications
- Guiding initiatives through deeper levels of refinement
- Supporting engineering day to day, including: Daily standups; Sprint planning; Grooming sessions; Writing and managing JIRA user stories
- Solid experience in either POS or pricing systems
- Preferably exposure to environments where these systems overlap
- A strong interest in understanding downstream technical implications
- Ability to work effectively with engineering
- A clear grasp of product goals and the ability to represent them confidently
