Kforce has a client in need of a Junior Azure Data Engineer in Wilmington, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Support LDW migration to Azure Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse
- Write and optimize SQL for extraction, transformation, and validation
- Develop Python scripts for automation, ingestion, and data quality
- Build Fabric dataflows, pipelines, and lakehouse tables to standards
- Partner with engineers on ETL design, tuning, and optimization
- Test, review code, and maintain documentation in Confluence/Git
- Monitor data loads, troubleshoot failures, and update Zephyr/JIRA
- Stay current on Azure tools and contribute to process improvements
- Experience with Git/Azure DevOps, Confluence/JIRA
- Understanding of data-modeling, metadata management, and data-quality principles
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments
- Knowledge of Power BI and basic DAX concepts
