Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an IT Problem and Change Management Manager. Key Responsibilities: Problem Management:
- Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of recurring IT issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent future incidents
- Maintain a problem management database and ensure accurate documentation of known errors and workarounds
- Collaborate with incident management teams to reduce incident volume and improve service reliability
- Develop and enforce change management policies and procedures aligned with ITIL best practices
- Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and ensure timely review and approval of change requests
- Assess risks, impacts, and dependencies for proposed changes
- Monitor and report on change success rates, failures, and trends
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance requirements
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all problem and change management activities
- Analyze metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for process optimization
- Provide training and guidance to IT teams on problem and change management processes
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- ITIL Certification (Foundation required; Intermediate or Expert preferred)
- 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, with a focus on problem and change management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
