Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Ops Project Manager in Irving, TX. Duties:
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved
- Assume ownership of ongoing projects and maintain momentum throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action plans, and status reports
- Facilitate project meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews while documenting key discussions and outcomes
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
- Identify, monitor, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes
- Support project implementation efforts, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and project progress to ensure commitments are met
- Escalate challenges and work with stakeholders to drive timely resolution
- Maintain project documentation, governance materials, and project records
- Foster collaboration and alignment among stakeholders to support project success
- Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, meeting notes, and communications for leadership and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; PMP certification or similar credential preferred
- 5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a related field
- Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and project deliverables
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent facilitation, meeting management, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management or collaboration tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise updates for stakeholders and leadership
- Ability to understand complex business or technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
