Kforce has a client that is seeking a Home Loan Phone Representative in Birmingham, AL. Overview: Our client, a leading regional financial institution, is seeking a Mortgage Home Loan Direct Center Phone Representative to join their team in Birmingham. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset who enjoy a fast-paced, phone-based environment. The representative will assist customers with mortgage inquiries, provide product information, and support the sales process by building relationships and driving engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound customer calls related to home loan products and services
Provide exceptional service by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate mortgage solutions
Support customers throughout the home loan application process, ensuring accurate and timely communication
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and follow-up
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions within CRM systems
Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, sales, banking, or a related field
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience in a sales-related or call center environment
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

Candidates must be local to the Birmingham area or willing to work onsite as required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
