Kforce has a client in NYC that is looking to hire a Grant Analyst. They offer a flexible working environment with beautiful new offices. Overview: The Grant Analyst will work closely with internal program and grant management teams to support a portfolio of externally funded programs. This role is responsible for ongoing financial management, analysis, and preparation of grant-related reporting. The Grant Analyst will also support the preparation of budgets for new funding proposals, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable funder requirements. In addition, this position will assist with general financial operations, including audit support, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance functions as needed. They will also assist in program budget development for funding proposals, as well as budget modifications and renewals for existing programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in a finance or accounting role within a nonprofit, foundation, university, or similarly structured organization
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as applied to nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Exposure to audit processes and compliance reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis tools
- Experience supporting externally funded programs or contracts strongly preferred
