Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack JavaScript Engineer with strong fundamentals in computer science and a problem-solving mindset. This role focuses primarily on JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js development, with some exposure to React on the front end and occasional work with Java during system migrations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in complex environments and enjoys taking ownership of technical challenges from end to end. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Contribute to front-end development using React and Redux to build high-performing, maintainable user interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and problem-solving sessions
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across the application stack
• Support occasional integration or migration work involving Java-based systems
• Apply strong software engineering fundamentals to build clean, efficient, and reusable code
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; Equivalent experience considered
• 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on full stack JavaScript
• Proven expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design)
• Experience building and deploying production applications in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills - someone who takes initiative and drives results
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Redux and front-end performance optimization
• Exposure to Java in a migration or integration context
• Understanding of modern CI/CD practices and code quality standards
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
