Fixed Asset Contractor

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fixed Asset Contractor in Clearwater, FL. Duties:

• Fixed Asset Contractor will maintain and reconcile fixed asset, prepaid expense, and inventory accounts
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Monitor and reconcile inventory subledger activity
• Assist with lease accounting and related reporting
• Support ongoing accounting operations and special projects as needed
• As a Fixed Asset Contractor, you will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, including debits and credits
• Familiarity with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, inventory accounting, and lease accounting
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions and pivot tables
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
