Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevSecOps Network Engineer in Orlando, FL. Overview: We are seeking a DevSecOps Network Engineer to support secure, automated network operations within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for integrating security into every phase of the network lifecycle-from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will work hands-on to help modernize network infrastructure, enhance automation, strengthen security posture, and support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

You will work hands-on to help modernize network infrastructure, enhance automation, strengthen security posture, and support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a DevSecOps engineer focused on secure network infrastructure, automation, and continuous improvement
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, compliance checks, and incident response using modern DevSecOps tooling
- Maintain and secure network hardware including Cisco switches; Palo Alto and Juniper firewalls; Type 1 encryption devices
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and integrate network configurations into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, consistent deployments
- Manage and secure enterprise network tools such as Cisco ISE, DNA Center, and Call Manager
- Collaborate across cyber, development, and operations teams to embed security practices throughout the system lifecycle
- Support vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and alignment to recognized cybersecurity standards
- Participate in planned infrastructure upgrades, including hardware installation and structured cabling
- Conduct continuous monitoring and log analysis to detect anomalies, enforce baselines, and improve operational visibility
- Proven experience in network engineering within secure or regulated environments
- Experience working within Agile teams
- Hands-on experience with network security tools, firewalls, encryption devices, and hardening practices
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including automation, CI/CD workflows, and IaC
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, architectures, and layered defense models
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Industry certifications such as Security , CCNA Security, or CISSP
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other IaC/configuration management tools
- Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with Git, preferably GitLab, including GitLab CI pipelines and automated testing
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or VMware environments
- Understanding of Zero Trust architectures, micro-segmentation, or SDN
- Understanding of RMF, NIST 800-53, or similar compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of container platforms such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
