Kforce has a client that is seeking multiple PC Deployment Technicians for a short-term contract assignment in Troy, MI. This position is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, basic technical aptitude, and the ability to follow established processes in a fast-paced deployment environment. Responsibilities:
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

Responsibilities:
- Unbox, assemble, and set up new computer workstations
- Install and connect monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, phones, and other peripherals
- Mount monitors on articulating monitor arms and ensure proper workstation configuration
- Connect power, network, and peripheral cabling
- Perform basic testing to verify equipment is functioning properly and ready for end-user use
- Remove and dispose of packaging materials while maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Follow detailed deployment procedures and instructions provided by onsite project managers
- Assist with the installation and deployment of desktops, laptops, monitors, and related hardware
- Prior experience in a PC deployment, hardware installation, desktop support, or similar technical role preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete tasks accurately within established timelines
- Relevant technical education, certifications, or training are a plus
