Deltek Costpoint Reconciliation Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Deltek Costpoint Reconciliation Specialist in Arlington, VA. Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support a critical reconciliation and accounting cleanup initiative. This project-based role will focus on identifying, researching, and resolving accounting discrepancies while strengthening processes and supporting ongoing accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong Deltek Costpoint expertise, technical accounting knowledge, and a hands-on approach to improving financial accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, analyses, and financial data cleanup activities
• Research and resolve outstanding accounting discrepancies across general ledger accounts
• Support month end and year end close processes as needed
• Review financial records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with revenue recognition activities and accounting treatment in accordance with ASC 606
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to strengthen accounting workflows and controls
• Work collaboratively with finance and accounting leadership to prioritize and execute project objectives
• Analyze historical transactions and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of accounting activity
• Support ongoing accounting operations and special projects as assigned
• Prepare detailed schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for management review
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Current Deltek Costpoint experience, preferably Version 8.3
• ASC 606 knowledge
• Strong reconciliation and cleanup experience
• Ability to improve processes and support ongoing accounting activities
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
