Data Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join the ICAT team in Newark, DE. This role plays a key part in maintaining and validating reference data and bond analytics, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information used across the business. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the broader data and analytics landscape. Key Responsibilities:

• Validate reference data and bond analytics exceptions to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate closely with the Index team to identify, assess, and remediate data or analytical calculation exceptions
• Develop a deep understanding of data sources, derived values, and operational processes
• Support daily operations by monitoring data feeds, identifying issues, and driving resolution
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance data quality
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes, findings, and corrective actions
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data validation techniques
  
  

Preferred Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, corporate finance, accounting, supply chain analysis, or pricing analysis
• Familiarity with financial instruments, bond analytics, or reference data management
• Experience working with large datasets or analytics tools
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
