Kforce has a client in Milwaukee, WI that is seeking a Credit Analyst that supports the Home Energy portfolio by evaluating credit risk, managing customer exposure, and partnering with internal teams to balance growth with disciplined credit practices. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and supports complex, higher-risk accounts. Responsibilities:

This role operates with a high level of autonomy and supports complex, higher-risk accounts. Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, leverage, and liquidity
- Approve or recommend credit limits and payment terms aligned with policy
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks
- Partner with Sales, Collections, and Operations on credit decisions and escalations
- Support order release decisions and resolve credit-related issues
- Mentor junior analysts and help standardize decision-making practices
- Prepare reporting on exposure, trends, and portfolio performance
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting, and use of data analytics
- 5 to 8 years of credit analysis or financial risk experience
- Experience in energy, utilities, construction, or industrial environments preferred
- Strong experience managing complex or high-exposure accounts
- Advanced financial analysis and credit risk evaluation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to make independent credit decisions
- Experience with Power BI highly preferred
- SAP or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel
