What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance & Risk Analyst II position at Kforce Inc?
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Compliance & Risk Analyst II. Summary: This team monitors transactions of corporate/commercial affiliates of the bank and its trusts to ensure they adhere to regulatory requirements. Specifically, Reg W and sections 23A and 23B, as well as specific Japanese transaction regulations, requires due diligence ahead of transactions being executed. There's an extensive risk management program that's been in place for more than a decade. This means they have policies and controls in place, and it's the controls monitoring this person will be doing. The types of activities these corporate/commercial affiliates engage in change all the time, as do the types of products and the associates themselves. Though there will be a lot of on-the-job training, we need someone with experience in risk, change management, and compliance with the ability and confidence to read and interpret regulations and interpret risk. A lot of this is answering questions from business units about risk whenever they've been instructed to ask compliance about risk in a particular situation. The Compliance & Risk Analys must understand what compliance regulations look like, what constitutes risk in regards to the transactions that are occurring, perform existing monitoring and testing, and be able to recognize when additional monitoring/testing is needed based on changes to the business, and communicate about this with diverse groups of people including Credit Operations staff (where you'd go to find evidence/reporting that a control is working properly).
Requirements
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
