Kforce has a client that is seeking a Complex Auto Adjuster in Phoenix, AZ. Summary: As a dedicated Senior Auto Claims Adjuster, you will adjust highly complex auto insurance claims presented by or against our members to include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering best in class service, through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and empathy. Key Responsibilities:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Summary: As a dedicated Senior Auto Claims Adjuster, you will adjust highly complex auto insurance claims presented by or against our members to include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering best in class service, through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and empathy. Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate coverage, liability, and physical damage, including total loss settlements
- Negotiate liability in comparative negligence cases (claimant or adverse carrier)
- Identify coverage concerns and initiate Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals when appropriate
- Collect and analyze information from police reports, witness statements, and recorded interviews
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements for first- and third-party physical damage claims
- Resolve claims through proactive problem-solving and decision-making
- Document all aspects of the claims process clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate resolution
- Support members using various communication channels and digital tools
- Apply proficient knowledge of P&C insurance products, contracts, and procedures
- May serve as an informal resource for team members
- Participate in CAT response operations, including potential travel and on-call work
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience handling low to moderately complex auto liability claims
- Strong understanding of auto liability coverage, contracts, and state laws
- Proven skills in negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution
- Ability to prioritize, analyze risk, and make sound decisions
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of recent multi-vehicle claims liability experience
