Kforce client is seeking a Collections Specialist in Manhattan Beach, CA. This position is onsite Monday - Friday. Duties:
- Manage delinquent consumer loan and credit card accounts, including deficiency balance, bankruptcies, and charged -off accounts
- Conduct extensive skip tracing of debtors and collateral, evaluate risk, and determine appropriate resolution strategies
- Recommend and coordinate field chases, repossessions, legal actions, and charge-offs
- Manage high volume inbound and outbound calls using power dialer
- Generate Credit Bureau reports
- Exhaust all available recovery options when resolving delinquent account
- Protect assets by reducing delinquency and preventing financial loss
- Utilize computer systems to accurately enter, update and retrieve account information
- Deliver high quality customer service, including resolving account disputes, correcting misapplied payments, and processing payment modifications, note modifications, references and loan or credit card consolidations
- 1-3 years of loan adjustment experience
- Collections experience - banking Industry, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations pertaining to collections and handling of delinquent accounts
- Computer skills - Microsoft word, Excel Programs, Data Entry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
- Skip tracing experience
- Ability to handle High call volume
