Kforce has a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Chesterfield, MO. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership across the organization, aligning financial strategy with business objectives and long-term growth plans
- Oversee all accounting, finance, and reporting functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations in accordance with US GAAP and applicable regulations
- Lead the preparation, review, and interpretation of complex financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements, management reporting packages, and executive-level analyses
- Develop and oversee robust financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning tools to support decision-making and scenario analysis
- Compile, review, and distribute a daily executive dashboard, delivering timely visibility into key financial and operational metrics, trends, risks, and performance indicators
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, board members, and key stakeholders
- Ensure strong internal controls, risk management practices, and accounting policies to maintain financial integrity and audit readiness
- Partner with operational and department leaders to evaluate performance, improve profitability, and drive efficiency across the organization
- Lead cash flow management, capital planning, and liquidity strategy to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives
- Oversee external relationships including auditors, banks, investors, and advisors, serving as primary financial liaison
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing finance and accounting teams, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership development
- Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements to scale financial operations and improve data accuracy and timeliness
- CFO experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Developed project management skills
