In this role, you will combine your accounting expertise and passion for the nonprofit sector to drive meaningful results for clients and support organizational growth. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will combine your accounting expertise and passion for the nonprofit sector to drive meaningful results for clients and support organizational growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team operations, including meetings, training, performance management, and one-on-one development
- Oversee workloads, deadlines, and KPIs, ensuring team productivity and removing roadblocks
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development while supporting team engagement and coverage needs
- Ensure strong client communication and step in to resolve issues or provide guidance as needed
- Review financial reports and deliver insights on financial performance and organizational health
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for clients
- Present financials to leadership and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage client onboarding, expectations, and overall service delivery
- Identify process improvements and maintain effective accounting practices
- Serve as a strategic advisor, addressing client needs and financial challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA designation is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, public accounting, or audit
- Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
- Prior experience leading or managing a team
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
