The role supports the Credit Card product line where you will help define, design and drive market leading features and capabilities to support the largest US Credit Card issuer. Responsibilities:

The role supports the Credit Card product line where you will help define, design and drive market leading features and capabilities to support the largest US Credit Card issuer. Responsibilities:
- Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
- Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
- Provides architectural documentation for both application specific design as well as multiple application/multiple product space designs based on business and technology inputs, firm standards and risk management needs
- Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
5 years of Senior Enterprise Level Architectural Experience including exposure to
- Conversion Architecture - changing data, systems from one form, format, or state to another including transforming character data, numerical systems, digital file formats, or even a legacy IT system to a modern platform
- Data Mapping/Cascading Impacts 'in consuming systems
- Applied experience after Formal training or certification on Engineering & Architecture concepts
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability along with prior programming experience - creating secure code, code reviews, debugging code written by others
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Familiar with PCI and Industry standard security patterns, such as Tokenization, Encryption, etc.
- Experience in the Credit Card industry or Financial Services Architects are highly desirable
