Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Order Management and Inventory Allocation in Austin, TX. Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale technology transformation initiative focused on Order Management and Inventory Allocation. This role will play a key part in discovery, process analysis, and requirements definition across ERP and connected systems. This is a highly collaborative position working across business and technical teams to evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape future-state solutions. Roles and Responsibilities: Discovery & Process Analysis:

Roles and Responsibilities: Discovery & Process Analysis:
- Lead discovery sessions focused on order management and inventory workflows
- Document current-state (As-Is) processes using detailed process maps (swimlanes, value streams, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies, system gaps, and integration challenges
- Partner with stakeholders to define pain points and improvement opportunities
- Facilitate workshops to gather and validate business and functional requirements
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process flows and use cases
- Ensure requirements reflect end-to-end business processes and data flows
- Support backlog development and prioritization
- Develop Business Value Assessments (BVAs) to quantify expected benefits, costs, and risks
- Translate business needs into measurable outcomes aligned with transformation goals
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Work across functions including supply chain, demand planning, sales, and operations
- Help ensure alignment across ERP and related systems
- Support development of future-state (To-Be) processes
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or transformation programs
- Process mapping and workflow documentation
- Requirements elicitation and stakeholder facilitation
- Background working with ERP and/or Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured documentation
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex environments
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer products industries
- Order management workflows
- Inventory allocation and planning processes
- Experience supporting ERP transformations or large system implementations
- Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Lucid chart
