Agile Project Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Agile Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX. Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Scrum Project Manager with experience in financial services technology to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects using Agile methodologies with delivering payments and data tools/solutions to help business scale. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who facilitates collaboration, removes impediments, and ensures the team delivers value to stakeholders efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
• Guide teams on Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized backlog
• Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and other key metrics
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and align deliverables
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality standards
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices
• Support Agile transformation initiatives across the organization
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification
• 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in Agile environments
• Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)
• Experience in software development or IT projects is a plus
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
