This full-time Engineer-In-Training (EIT) position is an on-site role located in San Antonio, TX. The EIT will assist in civil engineering design and analysis, prepare technical reports, and collaborate closely with both teams and clients on project deliverables. Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing design documents, performing calculations, conducting site evaluations, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and design standards. The Engineer-In-Training will support timely project completion and provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering concepts, design analysis, and technical report preparation
- CAD and software skills relevant to drafting and engineering design (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Strong organizational abilities, project management knowledge, and attention to detail
- Ability to perform site evaluations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with teams and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or nearing completion)
- Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification or eligibility to obtain certification is highly preferred
