Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with food handling tasks like bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours
- Support team members with food preparation, packaging orders, and ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and cleaning
- Experience in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory
