Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with attention to detail and patient comfort.
- Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document medical records accurately and efficiently while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
- Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their oral health needs and educate them on proper dental hygiene practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental fabrication techniques and emerging technologies in general dentistry.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including infection control and medical documentation requirements, to promote a safe clinical environment.
- Support team members through four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and enhance patient experiences.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
- Extensive knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and related specialties.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and effectively.
- Experience in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures within a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic technique, and medical imaging practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
