Keytronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Warehouse Operator candidate to be responsible for handling daily logistics associated with material handling and processing shipments, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping products in support of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
- Utilize forklift and/or other powered equipment to stock product and maintain warehouse efficiencies
- Completes detailed inventory transactions in appropriate systems, documenting receipt, delivery and/or shipment of materials.
- Ability to pack and ship customer orders.
- Performs a variety of tasks associated with material handling and control in support of manufacturing printed circuit boards and other products.
- Receives, counts, and stocks raw material.
- Ensures accurate counts, sufficient packaging, parts identification, and shelf life determination.
- Receives, sorts, inspects, counts, and validates returned material.
- Delivers material to production and /or shipping areas.
- Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Provide timely loading and off-loading of products from delivering trucks.
SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED
Is supervised by the Warehouse Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift experience is a must; Hazmat experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand basic warehousing principles to include space utilization, transfers, WMS usage
- A high school education or equivalent along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Computer proficiency
- Competency in basic math
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement
- Familiarity with ISO procedures.
- Ability to be at work when scheduled and on time.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good vision, hand coordination and manual dexterity are required.
- Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English.
- Basic PC Knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand a packing slip.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee must possess the ability to work on a stand up forklift for over half of the shift. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
