Key Responsibilities
Investigations and Analytical Execution
- Support client engagements involving blockchain and digital asset investigations, cyber-enabled fraud, sanctions and compliance inquiries, and other complex technical investigative matters.
- Conduct blockchain tracing and transactional analysis across public ledgers and related data sources to identify fund flows, wallet activity, and patterns relevant to investigative questions.
- Perform structured research and analysis related to digital assets, exchanges, custody platforms, on-chain activity, and emerging risks in the crypto ecosystem.
- Assist in developing investigative workflows, analytical frameworks, and fact patterns that integrate technical evidence with business, regulatory, and litigation contexts.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-supported analyses, presentations, and written deliverables for internal and client audiences.
- Work closely with senior team members to execute project workstreams and contribute to high-quality client outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across technical, economic, and strategic disciplines to address multifaceted investigative and regulatory challenges.
- Translate technical findings into concise, accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal knowledge building, practice development, and refinement of Keystone's capabilities in blockchain and digital asset investigations.
- Support multiple engagements at once, demonstrating strong judgment, attention to detail, and effective prioritization.
- 5 years of experience in investigations, consulting, digital forensics, cybersecurity, blockchain analytics, risk advisory, data analytics, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or another relevant quantitative or technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience supporting investigative, forensic, compliance, or litigation-related matters involving technology or digital assets.
- Familiarity with blockchain ecosystems, cryptocurrency transaction analysis, and digital asset risk issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and ambiguous fact patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment on emerging issues at the intersection of technology, regulation, and investigations.
