What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Crew Chief position at KEYSTONE SURVEYING & MAPPING, INC.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the company’s survey crews in the field by managing, preparing and coordinating required field survey and stakeout work to satisfy client needs and serve as public face of the company in the field
· Operation, maintenance and repair of all field equipment and software
· Proper collection and recording of all field data including clear notes, photography and electronic entry
· Ensure all field procedures are followed exactly as prescribed
· Project review and final submission including all inspections, final meetings with client and reports
· Always ensure clear communications and professional project environment with crews, clients, contractors and office staff
· Ensure proper management and care of all field equipment including vehicles
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
· Ability to interact positively and professionally with other employees
· Good technical, communication, and verbal skills
· Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to project sites
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to listen and speak clearly on the telephone
· Must possess a medium level of computer operational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,400.00 - $66,500.00 per year
