School and Position Summary:
Keystone Prep High School is a private school in Odessa specializing in students with learning differences. If you have a passion for teaching this population of students, Keystone Prep is the place for you. We have a maximum class size of 16 students, and we focus on project-based and experiential learning. This position is tailored to the educator with content knowledge in Astronomy, Rocketry, and Mathematics.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Astronomy
- Teach 1 semester of Meteorology
- Teach 1 semester of Aerospace Engineering (8600620)
- Teach Geometry or other Mathematics course as needed
- Work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, support staff, and administration
- Embed academic accommodations into the curriculum as needed by Keystone Prep’s diverse learners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in an associated field of study
- Earth/Space Science 6-12 (required)
- Math 6-12 (preferred)
- ESE K-12 (preferred)
- 5 years teaching experience with at least 3 years in public or charter schools
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a 10 month full-time exempt position available in August 2026. Salary Commensurate with experience.
