What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician PC & C position at Keystone Powdered Metal Company?
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Electrician PC & C on our 3x3 schedule, 12-hour shifts, on night shift, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To layout and modify control circuits and write and install programs.
- To efficiently and safely install, maintain, and/or remove electrical circuitry
and activities of presses, ovens, and other pieces of plant equipment and
systems, including programming and circuitry.
- To efficiently and safely do the general electrical and programming
maintenance (such as lighting, alarms systems, refrigeration, ventilation,
motors, air conditioning and other circuitry.)
- To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification.
- Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information.
This includes print and design changes.
- Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from
its use to ensure continuation of control conditions.
- Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
- Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors
and others with a need to know.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform work using trade knowledge within the National
Electrical Code and that specific to Keystone Engineering Standards.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of post-high school electrical education or
equivalent industrial experience.
- Must understand programmable controller logic and circuitry.
- Understands decimals, fractions, percentages, averages, etc.
- Understands and uses higher levels of math such as trigonometry.
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
